April 1 is Census Day – do it remotely!
The U.S. Census happens every ten years and the results will determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding will reach communities for the next ten years. In these uncertain times, it is even more critical that our communities are not left behind because they were not counted.
To comply with COVID-19 stay at home requirements, you can complete the census online. It takes just 5 –10 minutes so please do it right away and help protect the future of your family and community.
There are three options to complete the census remotely:
- ONLINE: The census form is available in 13 languages including Spanish and Vietnamese
- BY PHONE: Call 1-844-330-2020 and follow the instructions
- BY MAIL: Request and submit a form to the U.S. Census Bureau

Healthcare. Public transportation. Parks and Schools. Housing Assistance for Older Adults. These are just a few important, census-dependent programs and services. The full list of programs impacted by census data is extensive and your community deserves to get the maximum federal funding it needs.
Please complete the census right away, and please stay safe.
