2020 Census = $800 Billion in Federal Funding!
The deadline to complete the 2020 U.S. Census is October 31, 2020.
Did you know the information collected by the Census will be used to distribute $800 billion in federal funding? It is critical that environmental justice communities, who are historically undercounted and unrepresented, have much higher self-response rates in Census 2020.
The Census is easy to complete, and you can do it safely from home. To learn more, EHC invites you to join our Census 2020 Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, June 18th.
The event will be broadcast via Zoom and Facebook Live broadcasts.
English Census Town Hall – June 18, 2020 (4-5 PM)
We will provide updates on self-response rates in hard-to-count communities, a step-by-step demonstration on how to safely complete the Census, and share ways you can help get others counted.
Please RSVP today to learn more. We need your help to make sure the Census data can be used to fund the schools, libraries, parks, healthcare, and other services our communities need and deserve.
NOTE: The event will be streamed live on EHC’s Facebook page directly from Zoom.
