Give Just Two Hours for Environmental Justice
On Saturdays in May, Environmental Health Coalition will be walking in National City to empower underrepresented constituencies: people of color and the working class. Our goal is to increase voter turnout in our environmental injustice community and have our community's voice heard loud and clear.
Volunteers are needed to mobilize in National City. Let’s Rock the Vote! Walk with EHC to defeat Prop 98, which would end local control of community planning. Training will be provided.

Rents will skyrocket as local governments are prohibited
from requiring affordable housing areas
Prop 98 guts environmental protection
Many local laws that protect the environment and health would be forbidden, like relocating polluters away from homes and limiting carbon emissions.
