Other Toxic Concerns
Toxic emission concerns along the border do not end with Metales y Derivados. Among issues the Colectivo is addressing are water and air pollution from industrial sources, truck traffic, improper disposal and recycling of items such as electronics, and contamination in workers’ neighborhoods where public services and infrastructure are inadequate.
