BEJC Community Action Team — El Colectivo Chilpancingo Pro Justicia Ambiental
Colectivo members are residents of Colonia Chilpancingo and adjacent neighborhoods. Mostly women, they are committed to social and environmental justice. Active since the mid-1990s, the Colectivo is dedicated to improving the living conditions of all residents of Colonia Chilpancingo, advocating and organizing for change that creates a healthy and clean environment, safe working conditions, and human dignity. The Colectivo also serves as a resource for the community, offering information and education through meetings, forums, trainings, and materials available to the public. The Colectivo staffs EHC’s Tijuana office, which is open to the public four days a week.
